Do you know why you have lab results for your kidneys, when you are experiencing symptoms related to uterine bleeding? What have your doctor(s) discussed as your next steps regarding your abnormal uterine bleeding? Further testing or diagnostic screening? Treatment options that are recommended?

Here is a great informational site that discusses the lab results related to your kidney function: http://www.kidney.org/kidneydisease/ckd/knowgfr.cfm. According to this website, if the GFR falls below 15, this can indicate a problem, and from your description, this may not relate to your situation. However, if you do not understand any test results, you need to call your doctor and ask what the numbers indicate, what you should be concerned about and/or what you should do to prevent any values from falling out of "normal" range.

Please know that you need to talk with your doctor about your specific test results, as each lab differs with specific "normal ranges", and most often it is the combined results that need to be examined...not only one or two individual numbers.

Are you experiencing any kidney or other urinary tract symptoms?

If you are experiencing uterine bleeding, I am unclear why more testing is not being conducted on your reproductive system. Has your doctor indicated why testing is being done on your kidney function?

Please find these answers through your doctor, as it is specific to each individual person. We can then provide further explanation, information and resources based on your unique situation.
