Hi wantsbackntime,
Thank you for sharing your story. I feel for you. I'm so sorry the past year seems to have been a disaster for you, minus the wedding. It is no doubt that all of your health issues has done a number on your overall wellbeing--feel like the rug has been pulled out from under you? Would you look into getting in to talk with a therapist to work through some of this, and hopefully find some direction and new spark in life? Your life is not over. But I'm not sure it's a cheerleader you're looking for. So talk with your doctor, and see if they can recommend a support group for cancer survivors, or a therapist you could work with at least for the short-term to try to get you back on the construction horse (so to speak, sorry, bad joke), or at least back to a more positive frame of mind. What do you think?
There also is a group here at EmpowHER for Cancer survivors that may interest you. You may be able to connect with some women like you. Here it is: https://www.empowher.com/groups/cancer-survivors
You also may want to check out resources in the Cancer Survivors Network: http://csn.cancer.org/
Good luck, and let us know how else we can help.
