The chance for conceiving is best when you have unprotected sex at the time of ovulation. Ovulation is the time when an egg is released from an ovary. The egg travels through the fallopian tube. When a sperm contacts the egg, fertilization occurs. To know if you are pregnant or not, you need to wait. If you do not get your period, wait one week and take a home pregnancy test.
