Can you give me just a bit more info about the lump? Is it behind the ear? Does it hurt at all? Is it hard and fixed or soft and movable?
My first thought is that if she's had some sort of virus or illness that she may get a swollen lymph gland but want to make sure that it's not just anywhere on her neck.
