Surgeries, illnesses, medications can ALL have an impact on your period. Stress is another major factor that can affect your period. Since you mentioned being on antibiotics, if you are currently still on them remember to use a condom because they decrease effectiveness of birth control pills (if you are on BCP).
When did you have surgery? It can certainly be the cause of your period irregularities. If you feel like there MAY be a chance of pregnancy, take a pregnancy test if you don't have a period by the end of this week. But it can be very likely that the combination of medications and surgery are the cause of your irregular period right now.
