Although Plan B isn't 100% effective, the sooner after having unprotected sex it's taken, the more effective it is. Unfortunately, you won't know if you're pregnant until you have a late or missed period in August. Remember that Plan B may cause a change in your period and may cause it to come earlier or later. If it is more than one week late, please take a pregnancy test.
