Kudos to you for wanting to quit smoking after twenty years. It is a tough decision but ultimately, you know that it is best for your health :) Unfortunately, Zyban and Tamoxifen are not recommended to be taken together. In a drug list, they are classified as having major drug interactions with eachother-- this means: Avoid combinations; the risk of the interaction outweighs the benefit. However, don't let this stop you from achieving a smoke-free life. There are many other ways to quit smoking, including other drugs to assist you in smoking cessation. Please speak to your doctor as he knows your medication history and can best prescribe something that will help you quit smoking.
