You've made so many great points Susan. High quality wigs do cost a fortune. Often, a women undergoing cancer treatment (if she has insurance) can get insurance to cover the cost of the wig (it's called a cranial prosthesis in medical terms). As Alopecians, insurance does not cover our wig costs, something I've fought long and hard.
