Hi Betty! I am going through the same things and i think it has everything to do with the merena iud all my pain started after it was inserted and now i have had it almost 2 1/2 years and i am getting it removed doctors will swear it's not but i have been in chats with women experiencing the same stuff as us. They tried to tell me they thought it was pelvic inflammatory disease which if you go to the merena site it will tell you merena can cause this and i have never had an std in my life and i go to all my check-ups and do blood work reg! hope this helps tiffany
