Dear Dr. Oz,
I felt so sorry for you when I watched your show yesterday. The 32 year old lady who did fat internet porn shows for men who have a fat fetish. You did your best to make her see how dangerous it was for her to be that over weight and she just sit there in denial when you pointed out the truth from her tests. When you offered to help her and she refused, I could see the frustration in your face because you have donated your life to helping people live longer and healthy lives.
The thing about denial is that it is a very powerful force that blocks out the truth. Denial might be a good topic for one of your future shows.
Until this lady's denial is dealt with she will never see what she is really doing to herself by eating that much daily.
As for you, Dr. Oz, all the people you have and will help, there will always be some people you cannot reach no matter how much you see them hurting themselves. Some people are beyond human aid. When this happens we have to call on non-human aid. We solicit God's aid by way of prayer. Denial is powerful, prayer is more powerful.
After your show yesterday I prayed for that lady's denial to be shattered and who knows Dr. Oz, she may in the future call you and say I'm ready for your help. I also prayed for you as you continue your journey though life helping so many people have a better quality of life. Chin up Dr. Oz, you can't win them all.
