Bleeding from your rectum is not a symptom of pregnancy. However, sometimes when you're more than 5 months pregnant, the pressure on your rectum from the baby, placenta, etc. can cause hemorrhoids and therefore cause bleeding. Hemorrhoids can also be caused due to straining when you go to the bathroom and if you suffer from constipation. If you are not pregnant and you are bleeding rectally, please schedule a visit with your doctor to determine the cause.
