From your explanation, it would be highly unlikely that you are pregnant from your experience. Your period may be late, due to the stress of being "afraid of being pregnant". Since you are only one day late, wait at least until you are 7-10 days late for your period to take a pregnancy test again. My guess is that your period will start during this time.
