Hi Anonymous,

I'm sorry to hear that you have to deal with hair graying at such a young age. Most of the time, when someone's hair begins to gray during their teens, this is genetic. Has anyone else in your family started to gray in their teens?

I don't want to pass this off as simply graying due to genetic history. You should still visit your doctor so that you can have a full physical assessment done, including blood tests, family history, your medical history, etc. Unfortunately, conditions such as pernicious anemia, malnutrition, vitiligo, and even tobacco smoking can cause graying of the hair.

Please keep us posted,

Rosa
