Thank you for your reply. I am going to try joining that support group. I did notice that there are only a couple members, and not a lot of conversation. Hopefully after I pop my head in, someone will start a conversation. One of the "how can we make this group better?" was the same concern. Not a lot of talking going on in the group, and that post was several weeks ago.
Back to the bloating - At the end of the day, my stomach looks like it is going to pop. 2 weeks ago I weighed 96/97 lbs (5'4"). Today I weigh 100. I am seeing it slowly start to redistribute in other areas other than my tummy. But I do have a pretty decent sized little gut. And I am pretty uncomfortable most of the day. It feels like I did when I was pregnant. However is just under 2 weeks soon enough to start feeling relief? A typical day for me is (little bits through out the day. I start off with a handful of almonds, handful of cereal, ensure protein shake (muscle formula), hard boiled egg (2 or 3 by the end of the day), bowl of black beans with sour cream and salsa, bowl of mashed potatoes, a banana, more almonds, sometimes another shake, and then dinner, I eat about 1/5 of what a normal woman my age eats (or basically what I can handle). And that is just typical. I also drink fruit and veggie smoothies, throw in other fruits and veggies, etc. I have purged in this 2 week period, but only 3 times. For the most part when I eat something, my brain doesn't get mixed signals that I am going to get rid of it. I am soooo uncomfortable. My doctor doesn't seem to think anything is going on, other than normal healing. I am going to take a stomach emptying test, but I already know my stomach is delayed. I am going to copy and paste my concerns in that support group.
Please tell me this is normal!!! I can't find anyone who has personally gone through this. My local support group is for overeaters and I do not have that problem. I just want to get better. I am so done with this. :-(
Ok, thank you for letting me get out the details. :-)
Again, thank you for your comment back. ....Cindy
