My boyfriend had pleurisy, he had severe pain in his ribcage, and high fevers. It lasted about 2 weeks, the fever as well. He went to the E.R. His E.R. doctor wasn't very helpful. just told him to take motrin and see a specialist. He's fine now, went away on its own.
