I can understand your dilemma. Your gynecologist knows your health situation and is advising you correctly. I can only suggest that you get a second evaluation and the opinion of a gynecologist who specializes in pelvic floor reconstruation.
If your physician cannot recommend such a specialist, you can search your local branch of the American Society of Obstetrics and Gynecology for a referral and recommendation.
