No, he did not, but I've heard this before. Certain work places that consider fashionable head wear outside the dress code. It may be that their dress code does not allow head wear period, so they are reluctant to make an exception for fear of others following suit. Hopefully, once they realize her beaubeaus have a dual role - medical and fashion - she will be free to wear them.
