Give your doctor's office a call and ask to speak to that nurse. Ask her if your period should start on the first day of taking the inactive pills or if it is normal to have variable start dates during the first few months of being on the pill.
I don't know for certain if irregular periods are normal during the first months and then regulate once your body adjust. I don't want to give you incorrect information or advise you incorrectly.
