Thanks for the wonderful share. Having a friend who battled cancer at the age of 17 when we were just starting our senior year in high school-- I know that those scars are ones that you wish weren't there. But we have always called them her "battle wounds" and will always remember that that was a battle that she won. Not only is she a beautiful person inside and out but she is an Oncology Nurse and if it weren't for her winning that battle, we would be a world missing an amazing person and compassionate nurse...Just like if you didn't have your scars then you wouldn't be a cancer survivor speaking, advocating, and inspiring thousands if not millions of people.
