I am truly sorry that you have had a miscarriage in May and possibly another one recently.
A pregnancy test measures hCG levels. hCG is a hormone that is produced only during pregnany. If you did have a miscarriage, there will be no measurable hCG. If you were not pregnant, there will be no hCG. So, you can expect a negative result.
Since you have had a miscarriage in May, I suggest you give your gynecologist a call. The dark blood and tissue which you noticed should be evaluated by your doctor.
