Hi desireexmarie, Welcome to EmpowHER. Taking the pill at the same time each day makes it more effective. I don't think your body will get immune to the pill. The pill all it does it stops ovulation from occuring. Once you stop taking the pill, the hormones are out of your body quickly, usually within a couple of days to months. It might be good to see your doctor and explain to him your symptoms.
