I have adreanal fatigue / dysfunction. I have very low cortisol, it's called Addison's disease, and left untreated, it's fatal. After many, many doctors, it was finally diagnosed. All I have to do to stay alive is take one little pill of cortisol.

I had Lyme, too. I'm intrigued, when I typed in Addison's in search, Lyme disease came up with it. Is there a connection? I did a course of an antibiotic for an entire year (I can't remember which antibiotic, but I'll find out & post it), and I'm
now Lyme free!

Addison's is DEADLY if not treated. It's nothing to mess around with. Don't stop looking for a doc that will treat you with a daily pill of cortisol. Your life depends upon it.

If you have too much cortisol, it's called Cushings. It's bad, too, but I'm not as educated on it as I am with Addison's, because I have Addison's.
