If she is having severe cramping, she can take Midol to help reduce the inflammation due to her menstrual cycle that will cause cramping. You can also take her to see a Gynecologist as perhaps birth control may be helpful to control the flow of her menstrual cycle. Irregular periods are not uncommon well into your 20s.
