Hi,
Beside missing 3 doses of your birth control pills and not making up for the missed doses, I am concerned that you are not taking the pills correctly.

Most birth control pills are packaged as 21-day or 28-day units. It is my understanding that there are 7 pills for each week, with one pill to be taken each day beginning on Sunday and ending on Saturday.

For 21-day unit, tablets are taken daily for 21 days, then followed by a 7 day period which no birth control pills are taken. Are you using a 21-day unit?

For the 28-day unit, tablets containing medication are taken for 21 consecutive days, followed by a 7 day period during which placebo tablets (containing no medication) are taken. Are you using a 28-day unit?

Either way, there should be a 7 day period when you are not getting synthetic hormones found in the birth control pills. You should have a menstrual period during this time.

My second major concern is that you started your inactive pills on February 8, did not have a period and began taking active pills on February 12.

You need to make an appointment, right away, with your doctor.
Missing a dose of your active birth control pill on February 6 and 7 and having sex on February 7, increases your chance of getting pregnant.

I am concerned that you are continuing to take active birth control pills when there is a chance that you might be pregnant.
