I'm sorry to hear about your discomfort. You say that after you exert yourself by cleaning, you feel the most pain. Try your best not to over exert yourself and try stay off of your heel as much as possible.
Plantaar Fasciitis (inflammation of the plantar fascia), or heel spurs could be possible explanations for your pain.
