Why did you take Next Choice if you are taking Generess? Did you miss a dose of Generess and used Next Choice following unprotected sex?
In doing some research to answer your question, since I never experienced this issue, I did find that heavy vaginal bleeding is a side effect of Generess and changes to the menstrual cycle, such as heavier or lighter menstrual flow, are a side effect of Next Choice.
Logically, combining the two medications disrupted your normal menstrual cycle and is most likely the cause of the prolonged,heavy menstrual flow.
I suggest that you call your physician and report your symptoms. Your doctor can best advise you on how long the bleeding will last and what should be done.
