Hi Anonymous,

You are correct. Any time the penis comes in contact with the vagina, there is the chance of getting pregnant. The chance increases when unprotected sexual intercourse occurs during ovulation. Ovulation is the period when one of the ovaries releases an egg. Only one sperm is needed to fertilize an egg. The semen ejaculated from the penis contains a huge number of spern.

If you have had two menstrual periods since the episode of genital contact, there is no chance that you are pregnant.

You are also correct that stress can cause your period to be late. Your symptoms of feeling sluggish, stomach upset and an increase in breast cup size may all be premenstrual symptoms.

I would like you to visit the sexual health page on this website. I think you will find the articles, videos and slide shows helpful. You will get a better idea of how your body functions and become educated in the facts and myths of conception.
