Sorry to hear about the incorrect dosage given to you. However, legally, your doctor is required to disclose possible complications, adverse effects, and side effects that may result from the error. It sounds like he did do that and he is also taking added precaution by doing blood work in two weeks.
There should be no long term effects from this unfortunate mistake.
