Guide

Hello Anonymous,
Some types of breast cancer treatment can cause memory loss.
Did you have chemotherapy? You mention "in one week via catheter".

Chemotherapy, particularly the administration of the drug, lxempra, is associated with memory loss. The condition is sometimes called "chemo brain" or "chemo fog".

Radiation therapy can cause memory loss.

Here are a few tips to help manage memory loss:
1) exercise your brain by keeping mentally active. Do word puzzles, read and try math puzzles, like Sudoku
2) keep a note pad nearby to jot down things you have to do
3) use a calendar to keep track of upcoming events, bill paying or appointments
4) jot down items for a shopping list as soon as you run out of that item
5) establish a routine and stick to it
