Birth control pills are highly effective when taken correctly. Once you start missing pills and having unprotected sex, then the effectiveness of the pill will decrease. It is impossible to tell you whether or not you are pregnant-- but there is a possibility if you didn't use protection. Please continue to take your pills and take a pregnancy test if your next period is late/missed.
