I do not think this is serious enough to go to the emergency room. A visit to the ER will cost you much more than a visit to the doctor's office.
Consider calling your doctor's office and ask to speak with either the doctor or the nurse, if there is one. Hopefully, your doctor does not charge for a phone call.
