Hi Anonymous, During teenage many women do experience such severe cramps that's because the muscle in the stomach and vagina are contracting hard and they squeeze together which puts pressure on you causing you to have such cramps. As you get older the cramps gets less because hormone levels keep on changing. I would say take over counter motrin (ibuprofen) which is very helpful for such pain and keep warm compress on your stomach while laying down. If you sit a lot and feel such cramps you're putting pressure on your stomach which causes more pain try to relax it out lay down keep a warm compress and having motrin as needed will definitely help. One more thing during your period try to have like a cup of tea which is relaxing and helpful and also having plenty of juice such a orange juice or apple juice juices with vitamin C are good and helpful because it releases the muscles in the vagina and you feel less pain and going to the bathroom as often as you can is good to let everything out and you will feel a lot better this way as well. If you don't see any relief it's best to see a GYN and see what's going on.
