Hello Anonymous,
Polycystic ovary syndrome is a common hormonal disorder among women of reproductive age. Most, but not all women, have enlarge ovaries that contain numerous small cysts located along the outer edge of each ovary.
To my knowledge, a woman with ovarian cysts can have sexual intercourse. It is not a dangerous disorder. Having polycystic ovary syndrome can increase the risk of developing type 2 diabetes, high blood pressure, cholesterol and lipid abnormalities, and abnormal uterine bleeding, just to name a few. Developing these conditions is more likely if obesity is a factor.
