This is just a thought- if the x-rays and an MRI showed no abnormality that could be causing the pain, maybe the cause is not bone or soft tissue, but neurological.
From my own personal health experience with a rare form of brain cancer, I can say that finding the right physician and the right treatment made the difference from nearly dying to being alive today.
I suggest getting an evaluation with a neurologist.
