Thanks for your question. Nothing is impossible, I presume but it would be pretty uncommon to ovulate a couple days before you start you period. Women's menstrual cycles and hormones are sometimes all over the place and one period is never the same as the next. I wouldn't be too concerned about one period being completley different than the norm, but I would be concerned if this trend continues into the next cycle. Contact your OBGYN if it continues but for this time, I would just assume that it is "one of those bad months". If you have any pain, call your doctor immediately.
