Thank you for your question. Once your girlfriend takes the Ipill, she will experience abnormalities for at least two cycles of her menstrual cycle or period. It is impossible to pay close attention to missed periods during this time as the "spotting" will occur, some women miss periods all together while others may bleed more than once during that month. The Ipill reacts differently in woman and there is no way that we can predict what will occur with your girfriend. If she is concerned about pregnancy, take a pregnancy test and the results should make her feel better. In the end, she will not go back to her "normal" period schedule at least until her May cycle.
