Hello Erica,

I follow some of these very tips and can attest that they help improve my quality of sleep. There was a time, long ago, when I could have a cup of coffee at 10:00 pm and still fall asleep within the hour. Not any more! One other side effect of a cup of hot tea or coffee right before bedtime is its diuretic properties. Some of us older folks will be awakened during the night by this and a restful sleep is disrupted. I also found that replacing our pillows periodically and with a good quality pillow is helpful.
