Hi Sandela79,

Breasts are composed largely of fatty tissue, making them particularly susceptible to growth when weight is gained. The amount breasts will grow as a result of weight gain varies from person to person and is not confined to women. Also, taking birth control pills and pregnancy can cause changes on a woman’s breast.

Here are some tips on how to choose the right bra size:

Measure your band size. First, wrap the measuring tape directly under your bust. Second, use a mirror to ensure the tape is parallel to the floor. Third, hold the tape firmly against your skin and breathe out the air from your lungs. Fourth, take note of your measurement and round up or down to the closest whole inch.

Determine your band size. If your rounded measurement is an even number, add 4" to find out your band size. If the rounded measurement is an odd number, add 5". For example, if your measurement is 31", you should add 5 to this number. Your band size would be 36".
