Anytime you miss pills, especially for more than 1 day, you should always contact your Pharmacist in order to find out how to either make up the pills you missed or many times you have to wait until you have a period to start a new pack. Birth control pills are meant to be taken everyday and if you missed three days in a row, this is the way the pill works to tell your body it is time to have your cycle.
Anonymous, I am not sure what pill you are using but usually you can also get missed pill information from the companys website. Most pills that I am aware of do not suggest taking 3 pills in one day and therefore, this is why you may have had an extended period.
Now on to the question if you could be pregnant. The simple answer is obviously yes. Even using birth control everyday, on time is not 100% guarantee. Since you had a period, I would think this chance is highly unlikely although take a pregnancy test to be sure. If you EVER miss your pills again, always use a backup method of protection such as a condom. This will help reduce your chances.
