Welcome to EmpowHER and thanks for coming to us for support. Sounds like you have been through a lot. Most hair loss is not associated with systemic or internal disease, nor is poor diet a frequent factor. Frequently, hair may simply thin as a result of predetermined genetic factors, family history, and the overall aging process. Temporary severe stress, nutritional changes, and hormonal changes like those in pregnancy, puberty and menopause may cause a hair loss. Depending on what can be causing the hair loss, for example if it’s stress. Sometimes, prescribed medication such as Antidepressant can help in alleviating the stress and it’s symptoms. Also, a good daily multi vitamin can also help. You will need to discuss with your doctor first and he can better direct you as to what can be the cause.
