I had unprotected sex on Oct. 15, just 10 days after starting my last period. To be extra careful, I took my first ever Plan B One Step about 12 hours after the incident. I want to note that I'm 24 and have never taken any form of hormonal birth control, so this is my first experience with taking any type.
About 4 days (10/19) after taking it I began having fairly strong side effects of dizziness and nausea. This has been going on and off for 4 days now and this morning I woke up with some cramping. Other than this, I feel fine and normal. Seems like the pill is working.
I understand that these are all standard side effects of Plan B, but I'm just trying to get some more clarity on how long I will have these side effects. Is it possible that because I've never used Plan B or birth control that my side effects are stronger?
Also, is there anything I can do to subside the dizziness/nausea?
