Hi Erin, Thank you for your question and welcome to Empowher. Several years ago now, I moved from Cleveland, Ohio to Denver, CO. When I first got here, I continually got bloody noses and finally went to the doctor for a checkup. The answer - how much water do you drink? At the time, I was drinking about 40 oz of water a day. My doctor told me to double it and I have not had any issues since. Welcome to the desert! Where you live and activities that you do often govern how much water you should be drinking. No matter where I go, I always have a water bottle with me. You will find that you will be thirsty pretty much most of the day in desert climates, especially in the summer months. The winter months are usually less volatile. So for starters, try and double whatever amount of water you used to drink and see if that works for you. Your body will let you know. Hope this helps, MissieJune 29, 2014 - 4:45am
