Foods that are good for particular organs like the kidney, coronary heart and brain are dependent purely on hear-say, supposition as well as mumbo-jumbo. What may be seen as wholesome for one person, can have the actual opposing effect on another.

Good sense should tell you to avoid junk foods, high saturated fats and to reduce high-protein foods - our stomach evolved to process seed products and berries. Our renal system essentially filter out the toxins in the body, so simply do not put too many into it to begin with.

One thing that we do know -- drink plenty of liquid -- preferably natural water (absolutely no additives!) to clear the renal system out and let it perform it's job.
