Hi Anon,

Thanks for your question. The fallopian tube connects the ovary (where the egg is released) to the uterus (womb), where the fertilized egg develops into a fetus. Fertilization, the process in which the man's sperm joins the egg, takes place in the fallopian tube. Unfortunately, if both tubes were surgically removed, you cannot pregnant naturally. In this case, pregnancy will only be possible through IVF. The reason for this is that although you are producing eggs and have your womb for a baby to develop, the tubes which allow the fertilized egg to travel to your womb are missing. IVF is where eggs are removed from your ovary using ultrasound scanning and a fine needle just before ovulation, mixed with sperm outside the womb, and the resulting embryo or embryos are re-inserted into your womb. Hope this will help.

Best,

Daisy
