There's definitely a chance that you could be pregnant if semen got inside of you and you were ovulating on or near this time. As with the pill, it usually takes a full cycle to be effective, even then doctors suggest a back up form of birth birthcontrol.

It sounds like it could be implantation bleeding with some cramping. Implantation bleeding is very light (you wouldn't need a tampon) and lasts only a day or two. It usually looks light pink or light brown.

So, you haven't had a full period since July? Can you tell me the last day of your full period and what your cycle length is? 

You could have taken the pregnancy test too early. You can try taking one again in a few days.
