Guide

Hello Anonymous,

Thank you for your question.

Provera is a synthetic form of progesterone. It is given to replace the hormone when your body is not making enough of it. It is used as part of hormone replacement therapy for menopausal women, added to estrogen replacement therapy to reduce the risk of cancer of the uterus, used to treat abnormal bleeding from the uterus and to restore normal menstrual periods in women who have stopped having them for several months.

Postinor 2 contains levonorgestrel, which is a synthetic form of progesterone.

Anonymous, please call your gynecologist and discuss this. You have taken in a lot of synthetic progesterone.

Regards,
Maryann
