What the doctors do after someone wakes up from a coma?

After more/less a month and some days in coma (after a bus accident), which would be the exams made and why? For how long the person would remain in the hospital? There would be need to come back for more exams? Which would be the possible results of being in a coma this long? Would she necessarily have memory loss or forget somethings she learned? How would be the physiotherapy? For how long and what would be some of the exercises?
