No, where I live they are read the same day. You can even wait to get the preliminary information verbally before the written report is completed. I would call the imaging center and ask to speak to a manager and ask if he/she can accelerate the process for you. I had to do that in the past when I went to a center that caused a lot of worry by failing to get my past records and use them in reviewing new results. That reminds me, it will be helpful to make sure these new images are compared to those from your last mammogram. Hope that helps and hope you get answers soon.
