Wallow in pity? That's a really positive thing to say. If that's what you find someone doing, where are you to help them. I think everyone needs to relieve and pray to get over what they've been through and, by the way, they were a victim. Do they have any real support? Or have they just been deserted? Do they have anyone to talk to? Or they just supposed to suck it up and forget it. Boy, I have really seen compassion in this group.
