Do you have type 2 diabetes? I ask because when you have diabetes, proper foot care is very important.
Since the symptoms started after your toenails were cut, it is very likely how they were cut lead to your symptoms. Toenails should be cut after bathing, when they are soft. Cut toenails straight across and smooth with a nail file. Avoid cutting into the corners of the toes.
You should have your foot examined by your primary care physician or a podiatrist. The symptoms are severe and persistent, so please do not delay and suffer any longer.
